Dr. Moser has practiced general optometry in Eunice, Louisiana since she graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1976. Dr. Moser received a Bachelor of Science and a Doctorate of Optometry degree from the University of Houston. Her area of concentrated study was children's vision and contact lenses. While at the University of Houston, she was involved in the establishment of workshops designed for educators to learn about the role vision plays in an academic environment.
In 1975, Dr. Moser was among four students selected by faculty to participate in a pilot optometry residency program in the Indian Health Services of the Public Health Service. She was stationed at the Shiprock Indian Hospital Eye Clinic, in Shiprock, New Mexico.
In 1986, Dr. Moser became certified in ocular therapeutics. From 1986 through 1989, she was on the staff of Azar Eye Clinic and in 1999 was on the staff of LaHaye Total Eye Care (Lafayette, LA).
Dr. Moser is certified by the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, a national organization certifying optometrists in the fields of vision therapy and vision development. From 1995 to 2005, Dr. Moser was appointed Louisiana's State Director of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Dr. Moser is an active member of the Optometry Association of Louisiana and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Moser is the mother of three children; Dr. Rebecca Erin, Dr. Sarah Michel, and Michael Ethan. Dr. Moser has six grandchildren. Dr. Moser is proud to practice optometry in her home town.
